Welcome to the King of Pirates! I hope you find the roleplaying experience you were looking for here! We are a literate based roleplay with an on-going story line. We are a new site and hoping to get our name out there and you joining will just make that a little easier! Feel free to either join the town or join the crew and send your character on the most wild adventure ever! Here are a few helpful links to get you started:
Long ago, a group of pirates found the ultimate treasure, a golden staff with a snake head on top. At first, this simple staff meant nothing, but, when a deadly mutiny began, the staff proved it's worth. The captian was turned into gold as well. The crew, confused at what happened, sent their golden captian to the bottom of the ocean, where their crime would never be found. The man who had controlled the staff, named himself the new Captian and began to study the staff. Everything it touched, it turned it to gold. A new mischeif had formed in the Captian's head. He began to turn his enemies into gold and everything else and found a secret cave under water where he could hide it all. He became the most well-known pirate Captian around and, soon, he became known as the Pirate King.
For years, the name struck fear in other pirates. When they saw the maroon sails, they would immediatly give up. This lasted nineteen years until, the King became ill and there was nothing he could do about it. Whether it was from the illness of some secret plan, the Captain decided to steal a child from the city to train as his heir.
One night, late in the summer, his crew came into Silver Storm and snuck into the Duvaldon Estate, in hopes to get a little richer. Come morning, they reliezed that they had forgotten a child. As they were escaping the confines of the Estate, they came across the room of a small child, sleeping in his bed. Without hesitation, they stole him away and brought him aboard the ship as the new heir to the King. That morning, a notice went up around town that the son of Lord Duvaldon had been stolen and a life's worth payment would be rewarded to anyone who found him.
To this day, Lord Duvaldon still searches for his son...

Join the Town Silver Storm! This mainland is commonly visited by the Pirate King. Be apart of the town. Gypsy, Cat, Blacksmith, etc. They are all needed. Bring your man, woman or children here to be accepted into the society of Silver Storm! Moderator: Captian Jack Duvaldon
The town of Silver Storm was built around the Duvaldon estate and is set up in a circular structure. The inner part of the city is the richer part, white washed walls and stone cobbled roads and richly dressed lords and ladies. As you go outward, it gets poorer, brick cobblestones with trash and fiesties running in trench systems along the roads. People here have outside stalls to sell things whereas the richer part of town have actual buildings. An iron gate seperates the richer part of town from the poorer part of town. The docks cover a semi circle of land around the outside of town and is the cities main resource. Ships from all over pull into port and fisheries have popped up everywhere. From a high hill above the city, the St. Mary's Prison glares down, a dark and depression symbol of the city. Many people here in Silver Storm, find the King of Pirates as a hero and will do anything to hide him from the guards that wander through out the streets in both the inner city and the outer city. Everything you would possibly need is here, cat house, blacksmith, tailor, and a stable master, just to name a few. The city even has it's own newspaper where you can get any gossip you need and find out who died or who was arrested. The town square, where the iron gate is located, holds hangings and has a tall sign that announces wanted signs, sales, hangings and fairs. This is the home town of the King of Pirates.
The prison stands on a tall piece of land above the city of Silver Storm and sending a depressing message to all who see it. It's made of dark stone and a stone wall currounds the entire place. Many of the prisoners who enter this prison, never come back out. They either die there, are murdered or are executed. Though the prison looks small from the ourside, the prison exactly dissapers beneath ground several hundred feet that holds cells for the worst criminals to ever come through. Wailings and screams can be heard at all hours of the day because torture is a very occuring thing in St. Mary's. Carts full of food and prisoners come and go all day long and the good prisoners are allowed to unload these. Sometimes, prisoners are sold as "slaves" to the richer people, waiting on them hand and foot to learn to be good and obediant. Usually if a prisoner passes this test, they are freed and allowed back into the public. The cells in the prison are small, with mud floors and a straw mat to sleep on. There are told to pass their bathroom pot under the door every morning for empting, the same small space where their bowl of mush is past through. Many prisoners have built tunnels under the cells in the hopes for escape but they haven't yet figure out how to break through the stone walls of their imprisonment.
